Further to 15 years of activity, yet a successful 5 year partnership, it was time for the structure to reflect that: Albert Schrurs and Romain de Rham are now both co-CEOs of the company. To underline their desire to focus more and more on sustainability and circularity, the ecosystem has started to support rrreefs in several ways and, since 2024, Albert has also joined Climate Impulse, as its COO.

While navigating through the pandemic, honored to be a  Design Preis Schweiz nominator (2017-2023), the studio briefly expanded to Zurich (2021-2023), but chose to remain focused on the French speaking part of Switzerland. Albert Schrurs completed an IMD EMBA in 2023, and Romain de Rham, a CAS in Sustainability and Building Efficiency.

While growing as the local subsidy of Centdegrés, an international and pluridisciplinar company, the studio also led its own workshop at HEAD's Interior Architecture department (2014 - 2023), and co-founded its own construction supervision company with Romain de Rham, URBICA SA in 2019.

Albert Schrurs chose to co-found and register the studio in Geneva, after graduating an Architect from EPFL, a Luxury Designer from ECAL, and having worked for the luxury brand Louis Vuitton, the Pritzker Prize architect Shigeru Ban, Kengo Kuma, Jacques Lucan, and Ma Yansong.
